We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is God’s standard and authority for our faith and our lives. We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, rose from the dead in order to defeat death, and that he will come again. We believe in the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit, and that he is active in the lives of people today.
St. Barnabas is part of the Anglican Church in North America. Locally we belong to the Anglican Diocese of the South. Anglicans are also global. As a matter of fact, Anglicans make up the 3rd largest Christian denomination in the world! In 2008, Anglicans from all over the world came together and made a powerful stand in the Jerusalem Declaration.
